Morzine Mountain Guides and Mountain Leaders
Morzine is home base to many guides and mountain leaders.
Mountain guides make for great teaches and can take clients anywhere in the alps depending on the clients level. All mountain guides are Union Internationale des Associations de Guides de Montagnes (UIAGM) certified. Mountain guides work either independently or with a guides bureau.
Mountain Leaders are qualified for non-technical walks, multi-day treks and winter walking and snowshoeing. IMLs or International Mountain Leaders, are very knowledgeable on the flora and fauna of the region and are sure to make a hike enjoyable. Mountain leaders, much like mountain guides, can work independently or in conjunction with a guide bureau.
