  • Morzine : Hiking, Walking and Trekking

      Morzine is situated in the Chablais region of France surrounded by beautiful mountain vistas and lakes.  This region is ideal for nature lovers.  Whether looking to take a gentle stroll in the woods or spending a full day hiking at higher altitudes, with over 380 km of trails, there is something for every explorer.

      Many of the mountain lifts run during the summer to whisk hikers and bikers up the mountain in no time.  The lifts come in handy for those looking to gain altitude quickly to explore further afield or just wanting to take advantage of the views and gently stroll back down to Morzine. 

      Lightweight boots and shorts are sufficient. Waterproofs are essential and trekking poles useful. Don't forget sunglasses and skin and lip protection. Always carry drinking water and make sure to check Morzine24.com for the

        The Pointe de Chésery (2251m) is a beautiful family hike that starts form the Linderets hamlet.  From the parking, take the trail to the left marked Pointe de Chésery and continue to the small chalet and follow the path on the right side.  The top of Chésery is visible from the path. The climb takes about 2hs.  Take the same path down.    
       
        Donkey hikes are always good fun for the children.  Take a tour in the local mountains with a guide and some friendly donkeys always ready for a tired kid to take a ride for a few kilometers!  Companies offering Donkey Hikes!
