Ice Diving in Montriond Lake
Dive into another world. Take the plonge into this silent winter wonderland. Ice diving in Lake Montriond begins as soon as the ice forms at the start of winter. As you exhale into the mouth piece, watch the air bubbles float to the surface, trying to escape but trapped by the icy layer.
Divers will be attached by carabiner to a rope running through the water so there is not a risk in losing the exit! For those less experienced or younger divers, an instructor will stay by your side at all times.
